Andy Kolb: Last Laps At Thai Wake Park

The way Andy Kolb says “Goodbye” to wakeskating – last laps from Thai Wake Park.

No other wakeskater from Germany has had such a big influence within the sport, as Andy Kolb did over the last two decades. For now Andy says “Goodbye” to wakeskating with this clip from his last laps at Thai Wake Park.

“These are some of my last laps for a couple of years. Due to a wakeskate injury in 2003 I will have to undergo a few surgeries to correct the length of my leg and the angles of my knee. For the past 18 years I have left everything on the water and I’m extremely thankful for what wakeskating gave me. Hopefully one day I will be back out there.“ – Andy Kolb

All the best for the upcoming surgeries and thanks for everything you have done for wakeskating and wakeboarding through out the years. We hope your time in our sports isn’t over yet, Andy. See you soon on the water …
