Felix Georgii: Winching through Germany
City, country, river – no, Felix isn’t proving his general knowledge in geography, but underlines once again why he is one of the most influencial wakeboarders of the present. Winching across Germany at its very best!
When you hear that Felix Georgii just dropped a new edit, you probably drop everything right away. Same now, as he now proves once again with his latest masterpiece.
If you follow Felix and his film dudes Steffen Vollert, Matteo Rüger and Felix Weise as well as winch operator Matty Muncey on Instagram in spring and summer 2022, you probably got impression that there’s something pretty rad in the making. Latest at Munich Mash, when the guys filmed a scene directly at the location in Munich’s Olympiapark in front of thousands of spectators, the anticipation increased immeasurably for us. All the better that the edit is now finally online.

It’s amazing what the crew has conjured up. Pretty much everyone should find a few spots that you have visited yourself, even if without winch and wakeboard. On top of that, the guys have also discovered locations that leave you speechless. The huge weir, where water comes from all directions, the tunnel where Felix crashes a techno party or the beautiful alpine panorama with lush meadows and a Bavarian brass band in Felix’s home – awesome!
Once again, the Allgäu local manages to make everything look so incredibly easy and playful. The hardest tricks on real urban terrain are celebrated as stylishly as hardly anyone else can.

It should already be clear that Felix, Steffen & Co. have set a benchmark here – the video will definitely be remembered and thus it achieves something that rarely succeeds today. A lot of work that has gone into this pays off in any case. Chapeau guys!
