Fill Out The blanks: Elevated Wake Park
In this week’s Fill Out The Blanks we talked to the man behind Elevated Wake Park: Morgan Batchelor.
If you haven’t heard or seen of Elevated Wake Park before, you’re not late to the party. It only recently opened on May 23rd and is one of the very few wake parks in the world to have a permanent land pool feature. But also generally a really dope lookin’ home-made setup combined with a fine selection of HDPE features. You know, one of those parks that gets you excited to find out: where one earth is this? But now let’s hear some insights from Morgan.
My name is M̳o̳r̳g̳a̳n̳ ̳B̳a̳t̳c̳h̳e̳l̳o̳r̳ ̳ and I‘m the o̳w̳n̳e̳r̳ of Elevated Wake Park.
I have been wakeboarding for 2͎0͎+͎ ͎y͎e͎a͎r͎s͎.͎
Elevated Wake Park is a F̳u̳l̳l̳ ̳s̳i̳z̳e̳ ̳c̳a̳b̳l̳e̳ ̳s̳y̳s̳t̳e̳m̳ ̳ and is located in L̳e̳x̳i̳n̳g̳t̳o̳n̳,̳ ̳N̳o̳r̳t̳h̳ ̳C̳a̳r̳o̳l̳i̳n̳a̳.̳
It has been in the planning for ˙sɹɐǝʎ
Major inspirations when it came to the wake park design came from ᵗʳᵃᵛᵉˡⁱⁿᵍ ᵃʳᵒᵘⁿᵈ ᵗʰᵉ ʷᵒʳˡᵈ ᵃⁿᵈ ᵉˣᵖᵉʳⁱᵉⁿᶜⁱⁿᵍ ᵃ ˡᵒᵗ ᵒᶠ ᵈⁱᶠᶠᵉʳᵉⁿᵗ ᵖᵃʳᵏˢ.

Thank you Morgan and Taylor and congratulations on your successful opening. We’re sure we’ll see a lot more great content coming out of Elevated Wake Park in the near feature.
