LANGENFELD OPEN 2022: Announcement of the long-awaited return

Hell yeah! The LANGENFELD OPEN presented by Liquid Force are back for 2022. After a two-year break from Corona, they will be the event highlight for the coming summer. As known from previous editions: the Langenfelders know how to put on good events.

The date is fixed and confirmed for Saturday, 21.05.2022. The finals will start at 3 pm. The practice with international driver field will take place the day before, May 20th.

The big flagship of the LANGENFELD OPEN is the the fine mixture of UNIT features. In a total of six sections there will be some unseen feature combinations, which would not exist in such a way in the public hours. Think of the combination of the Nico 2 + Henshaw Signature three years ago. As soon as the renderings are out, you’ll find them here.

Overall, the 2022 event has $10,000 in prize money up for grabs in the Pro Men and Pro Women categories. To get us pumped up for the event (which wasn’t actually necessary in the first place), we’ve pulled out the recap from 2019:

Surprise winner of 2019: Anne Freyer
Pedro Caldas made it to 3rd place in 2019, he is a hot favorite to make the podium this year

Thanks to the sponsors Liquid Force, Follow Wake and Nissan, who make this event possible. For all interested participants: The registration for the event will start in the next weeks – so stay on the lookout.

We recommend you to mark this day in your calendar right now. Especially for spectators and fans the past editions were an absolute spectacle. For sure: The world’s best riders will not miss this event either! The journey to Langenfeld is worthwhile in any case – see you there on May 21.
