ZMT: Nature of Offense
Nature Of Offense? Oh yes baby! This Winch movie has been in the making since the first Corona lockdown in 2020 and has finally been released by Gibby Corcoran. An absolute milestone and without a doubt one of the best Winch movies of the year! We would even go so far as to say: Street wakeboarding at its finest!
But from the beginning, part of the film are Jake Flynn, Gibby Corcoran, John Dreiling, Clark Davis, Wes Huber, Hannah Mennega, Ethan Weaver, Gavin Stuckey and Dylan Mead. Except for John, the crew is still quite unknown to most in Europe – quite unjustifiably! Usually the protagonists of the film can be found at Elevated Wake Park in North Carolina and Action Wake Park in Michigan. Editor Gibby summarizes the project as follows:
“My vision for Nature Of Offense was largely inspired by my favorite snowboard films, I wanted it to be a little shorter than our past videos and we were very intentional about showing each spot no more than twice throughout the video.” – Gibby Corcoran
And they have undoubtedly succeeded in doing so! We are pumped. The stand out parts for us are by Gibby himself, with his relaxed style, as well as Jake Flynn’s entire part. The insane spot he hits at 08:26, not to mention the ender of the film!
That street winching is possible was proven by pioneers like Shredtown and Raph Derome. Movies like Formats and the Real Wake X Games have pushed this part of the sport further. That there’s now a young crew pushing the limits, which grew up with the aforementioned films, and now released such a banger is really worth all honor. Chapeau to the whole gang and now enjoy the pictures of the trip.

Despite all the enthusiasm, we want to point out to everyone reading to please respect your limits and stay within your personal boundaries when winching yourself. Cheers!
