Nike Hauser and Jan-Luca Schulz win Andocken 2026
Two days of great vibes and awesome riding—that’s what ANDOCKEN at Dock5 in Düren had in store again this year.
On May 15 and 16, Dock5 at Badesee Düren, together with the local club and event organizer Heimathafen Badesee e.V., once again demonstrated why ANDOCKEN has established itself as an international contest. A total of 122 riders competed in ten categories—ranging from the Minis to the Open Men & Women, plus Wakeskate and Masters. New this year: For the first time, the event spanned two days. Qualifiers took place on Friday and the finals on Saturday.
Despite mixed weather, around 800 spectators came to the lake and were treated to quite a show: creative riding with commentary by Clint Liddy, a laid-back contest vibe, and an international field of riders from the USA, Australia, New Zealand, France, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, the Benelux countries, and all over Germany.
What makes ANDOCKEN special is its format. Even in the qualifiers, all riders complete two runs each. Additionally, extra points are awarded for varied riding. This means the focus isn’t just on pure technical skill, but above all on creativity, variety, and style on the water. That’s exactly what makes the format so appealing to many riders and ensures runs that stand out from the classic contest standard.
The Open Finals on Saturday, in particular, delivered exactly that. Lots of individual riding, creative lines, and an atmosphere at the dock where every landed trick was celebrated. In the Open Men category, Jan-Luca Schulz prevailed with a strong and consistent final run. He was followed by Ari Blanik in second place and Beni Bodoki in third.
Things also got loud at the start and among the spectators in the Open Women’s category. From a Düren perspective, the final went perfectly: the two Dock5 locals, Nike Hauser and Joelina Gerards, held their own against the international competition and secured first and second place ahead of Katinka Buiting.
The friendly atmosphere—marked by a group BBQ on Friday evening, pleasant conversations around the campfire, cheering each other on at the dock, and lively celebrations after the contest—made the event a memorable experience even outside of the competition itself. The focus was clearly on camaraderie—that’s what sets the wakeboarding community apart. There was also music, cold drinks, and refreshments provided by the Sonnenralle crew right by the lake.
Here are the results and a photo gallery from the event.

And after the weekend, one thing is clear: ANDOCKEN is set to keep growing. The organizing team is already planning the next steps for 2027—with more international riders and higher prize money, without losing the event’s community spirit.
