Qualification with riders from 12 nations

For the remaining riders, this means that they have to qualify in the heats – and the competition is not exactly small. In the men’s race, there is a colorful mix of familiar faces such as Jules Charraud, Nico von Lerchenfeld, Felix Georgii and Dominik Gührs, as well as talented youngsters from the next generation such as Nils Ritzmann, Rudy Talboys and Max Milde.

Among the women, Katinka Buiting, Elena Bodi and Campbell Scarborough will have to qualify for the final. Incidentally, the qualifiers have been moved forward by one day this year – to Wednesday june 6th – to leave room for a new format on Thursday.

Best Air Trick Session

We are very excited about the new “Best Air Trick Session” on Thursday evening. After years of focusing on rail riding, it’s cool that the air trick session will be part of a very rail-heavy contest. After all, flying through the air is also part of what makes wakeboarding so special and was the first fascination that got many people hooked on the sport.

The Brexit Boys set the mood ...
... and the spectators are hyped. Red Bull WakeDuel at its best!

Otherwise, the contest format will remain the same as in previous years. You certainly won’t get bored, so you definitely shouldn’t miss it.

We are very much looking forward to the next edition of Red Bull WakeDuel and will be reporting from behind the scenes on site. You will find the livestream link here on our website just in time. Stay tuned!
