Tobi Rittig & Nico Gogol: Freeride Sesh at Wakepark Thulba

Finally, another clip featuring Tobi Rittig at Wakepark Thulba—this time joined by Nico Gogol, whose style pairs perfectly with Tobi’s. Definitely worth watching!

Tobi Rittig was once the youngest wake park operator in Germany, if not worldwide, when he was the host at Wakepark Thulba. That was a few years ago, and many might not remember. After spending several years in Switzerland, he’s now back in his home region in northern Bavaria.

His teammate Nico Gogol recently paid him a visit, and Lars Knorre joined the guys with his camera to capture them jibbing. By the way, some of the features at the wake park between Fulda and Würzburg were created during Tobi’s time there, and those were exactly what the guys focused on. Rough look, unconventional shapes, and paired with the style of Tobi and Nico—it’s seriously impressive!

Here’s the clip 👇”

A lot has changed in the park under the new owner, and yet—or maybe because of this—Thulba is still always worth a visit. There’s a great vibe here, and the pioneering wakeboard spirit that the spot has always been known for is still alive in some of the features. Dr. Knarre’s shots prove it!

So, if you ever have the pleasure of cruising along the A7 from north to south or vice versa, a stop in Thulba is highly recommended. See it for yourself!
