Zuupack: Trouble in the Dominican

The guys from Zuupack on the road in the Dom-Rep. Or: How to pass the time when the cable doesn’t do what it’s supposed to!

For years, Maxx Evan, Gabe Menendez, Luke Holmes and Bobby Trammell from the Zuupack crew have been known for taking fun trips and, most importantly, documenting them for us to enjoy. Their recent trip to the Dominican Republic was no exception.

The Carribean Lake Park, located on the western edge of the island, promises quite a paradise in the photos and it certainly would have been, had it not been for a derailment of the running cable. And because the damage could not be repaired quickly, the crew had to get inventive.

The pool next to the wakepark was quickly converted into a bi-level with the help of the winch, a horse on the beach was literally turned into a wake horse and the winch was used both in the wakepark and at various other great spots. The result is an edit that once again spreads good vibes.

A trip to a paradise that didn’t go as the Zuupack crew had imagined, but will be remembered nonetheless. Next time, hopefully there will be more wakepark action to see without having to cancel the winch therefore.
